I was thinking of you when I wrote the part about Rostov, but I realized I did not have any. My vivid memories are walking down to the river on completely frozen streets (there seemed to be something of a small river walk area by the SAS hotel), walking through the one main park in the city center and feeling bad for a lone pony there to give kids rides, and spending time in my friends families Soviet style apartment and watching her work on her Lada as she pulled a tool set out of the trunk and went under the hood to assist in getting it started. In other words I did not get any snaps, so you'll need to show the better/ non- frozen side.

Hey, at least I did not go into detail about getting shaken-down by the police at the airport .
