Vita is in London again

Yes, my GF Vita is back in the UK. [glad.gif]

The immigration officer did ask a number of questions but all was ok. I didn't realized her passport has only entry stamps in it so she was asked when did she leave last time. Seems a bit odd since the visa application put so much weight on length of that first stay.

Hopefully we will be dropping by the Russian festival in London announced elsewhere on this board, so if anyone else is going to be there PM me.

Nice to hear that Vita is back in London, you must be a very happy man now! [wink.gif]

You don't say how long she is going to stay but I am sure you will be busy getting to know each other more and showing her around London. Also it must be fun going on Sunday to the Maslenitsa Festival.

Looking at the photos wiz posted from last year, I am sure you will have good fun there. Don't forget to take some photos and post them here too!

Moved your new post on the Travel Reports Forum and hope you will continue posting here updates about your adventure, keeping us posted!

All the best to both of you!

First and foremost enjoy your time with your lady. [hug.gif]

On a side issue, I am not too sure about the Ukraine but I do know that in Russia all exits and entries are stamped in the passport, ask Vika if the Ukraine does the same, if yes then if she is asked the same question again regarding when she left she only has to ask the immigration officer to look at the Ukrainian stamps (assuming of course that the Ukraine does stamp the passport), if not the ask her to keep the departing boarding pass stub.

Yes extra hassle but just a safeguard against future problems.
Mind you the more UK entry stamps that Vika has in her passport the easier it gets (at least that is correct in Alla's case).

Glad to hear that Vita is back in London so soon.... and I am sure you will have too much to discuss and enjoy together! :D

I am sure she must enjoy the good weather we have the past 2-3 days and she has the opportunity to go shopping in Oxford street, which by the way I avoid like the plague, as my darling wife will bankrupt me...... [crying.gif]

Actually she is a good girl when it comes to her person but buying stuff for the house and the garden.......
it's another mater! [surprised.gif]

Sorry to miss the change meeting in London on Sunday...... but Marseille, South of France was a bargain opportunity that we could not refuse! Somebody has even forgot to talk about going back to Russia.... and it's nearly 2 years since her departure from there! [lol.gif] [lol.gif] [lol.gif]

Easyjet done it again, 2 return tickets ......£102 GBP, all inclusive of taxes etc!

I love Stelios.... [biggrin.gif]

Have a good time and regards to Vita!

Wiz,

I 've just read "Stelios". Wher is the guy?
I remember him and his posts a while ago on another list. My husband and I ( back then my husband did read posts, but no longer: too busy) always enjoyed reading his messages : always articulate and full of common sense we all need to hear from time to time. His posts were exceptional.

Where is Stelios now?

The "Stelios" I am referring to is the the owner and Major shareholder of the EasyJet Airline, and he is Greek!

Sorry but I don't know the Stelios you are referring to...........and I can't remember any poster that name.

Oh, Wiz, I see!

"Stelios" must be one of the most popular Greek names ( like Russian Ivan, may be?) :-)

As a matter of fact, there was a Stelios ( an AM of the Greek descend), years ago, who was one of the best posters ever.

I would say, his posts were the most informative and helpful ( in any situations).

And I miss them.
Now it is clear, it is another Stelios :-(

Ludmila.

Stelios is not as popular as Yannis, my name, in Greece, which is translating Ivan in Russian, or John in English.

Which board were you reading before, where the Stelios you mentioned was posting?

BACK ON TOPIC:

I wonder what happened to LesH?

Probably Vita is still in London and he is very busy.......

Sorry folks. I'm still here [happy.gif]

Vita did return over a week ago (although it seems longer!)

We are already counting down the days to her next visit on 6th April.

I think I'm due to meet some other similar relationships the following weekend as Vita has made friends with a RW in Gloucestershire who is holding a party and we have been invited!
