On the basis of me not being convinced that you and Veta are considering a child, I will give you the short version.

You are currently producing the same amount and quality of sperm as you would if you hadn't of gone under the knife. All the snip did was to stop your little Goodhew's escaping through their natural channels. Now they just get absorbed by your body.

A reversal 'simply' re-joins the tubes to allow your Duncan's to go the way they used to. How good a job Dr Plumber does will dictate how many fish join the egg race each time you have a happy ending. The more the fish you have, the more chance one meets up with an egg.

After my reversal I had a low fish count, around 80k per square something whereas a 'normal' bloke has around 250k. Having tried for a few months then we brought in some assistance in the form of ICSI, which was a new form of IVF. Prevously the method was to get loads of fish and mix them with some eggs and hope true love blossoms. With ICSI then the lab takes one fish and injects it into an egg and then the egg is put back. They recommended we put 3 back (same price ) so we did and two fertilised hence my 1st set of twins.

During the next 2 years my wife pined for just one more kid. We ended up going through the same procedure but this time only 2 eggs were put back. Both got fertilised hence another set of twins. The irony to this tale is 6 moths after they were born my wife fell pregnant again, but this time naturally. There was no way she/we could of coped with 5 babies/toddlers so ...........

If it helps then the reversal is a bit painful for a few weeks and there's a lot of to'ing and fro'ing to clinics involved as egg collection, injecting and returning is all to do with 'timing'.

nothing so 'interesting' - she was stuck in a small car with a bored five yr old who was unrestrained, and clambering, front-back to front and vice-versa, having tantrums.


She did mention she was glad she was glad that she didn't have to 'endure' that too often ( I've be having treatment ;) )

Yes, I really thought it was suspicious that the pool guy comes every two days to clean the pool. That just seems like it is too often. I mean if I had a pool maybe it would need cleaning that often but...........
