What's wrong with Limburg? [surprised.gif]

What about Eastern/Southern Netherlands?

Eastern Netherlands is mostly argicultural , southern used to be mining but now thats closed down and it switched to tourism.

What is there to see in the south? Maastricht area?

- Valkenburg, is a highly tourist-oriented town with many things to see.
- Cave exploration
- explore forests by bike
- Dutch Mountains (more like hills, austrians will laugh at us for calling em mountains)
- Fairytale park (a swimming resort / aqua park)
- Coal mine museum
- spa centrum
- Cave - Aquarium (zoo)

Wiz,

what do you call someone from Northern Ireland ( no insults, please) ?!

Many folk from N.Ireland think the Dutch are just great - The Orangemen and their supporters - who wave the Union fla more fervently than anywhere else in the UK !

They march in bowler hats to commemorate the intervention of a Dutch King William III who also became the King of the UK !

45% of the population would 'hate' you - as Ulster contains 3 Southern Counties ..

You may be learning - you can never 'win' with anyone from N. Ireland - we can't even agree what we are to be called ;)
