"Beer is to be legally classified as an alcoholic drink in Russia for the first time as the Kremlin forges ahead with the toughest anti-alcohol campaign since the fall of the Soviet Union."

Wow. Just wow. I love beer...and try to taste as many kinds as I can. But I don't consider it food.

Driving home last night I was listening to the CBC... [embarrased.gif] (less adverts) anyway they were saying how they'll basically shut the country down when it comes to easy access to buying beer.
I quickly thought how horrible it would be if that happened in Ukraine, and again quickly thought, my girl is in Uzbekistan, and I doubt I'll ever return to Ukraine. [crying.gif]

I have tossed travelling there to the little human heater, and at 1st she was quite negitive towards the idea. However I have a way with wearing her down, and she is now open to going there, as long as its not in the cold season.

Tell here it's a sentimental journey as you're looking for some closure.

I wouldn't mention anything about 'unfinished business' if I were you. [hi.gif]

Thanks for the tip Vinnster! [rolleyes.gif] [wink.gif]

Acually with all my time spent there I never did see much of the countryside. Wichesse posted castles, and yet I saw only one ruined castle in Balacalva. I first saw UA in the western portion of the country, it looked quite beautiful and I have always wanted to return and visit some areas. Maybe I will get there again, who knows.

Next they'll be saying our food is no longer healthy, wait, I that's old news. I guess I'll go back to drinking a beer while having a few Doritos. [drinks.gif]
