I want to send a small 3kg parcel to Russia on an express service to my wife, i know DHL deliver to her region but i don't have DHL account, can anyone recommend a company who can handle such delivery without extortionate delivery costs ??

I can address to a business address, the items are low value, actually gift , but the item is a liquid food supplement !!! are there any restrictions that could apply to sending liquids (not alchahol) , and its a product which is only available in UK hence why i need to send.

Julian,
First question is the product available over the counter.

If the answer is no then you do not have a hope of getting it delivered by a formal delivery company.
If the answer is yes then it will still be tricky because it is not available in Russia.

Next issue, you do not need a DHL account in order to send something with DHL, but be prepared to pay an arm and a leg a friend of mine was charged 63 EURO to have a letter delivered from Holland to Russia (Russian Far East).

Sorry if this is not want you want to hear.

The best option is if you can find someone who is travelling to Russia and ask them to take it for you and post it in Russia.

So far I have 'couriered' some English Mustard, Haggis and a legal document for people that I have made contact with through various forums.

You forgot to say that you also brought back some nice Christmas boxes.... too! [thumbs.gif]

Julian try this one ... http://www.worldwide-parcelservices.co.uk/

I used them myself for USA and the DHL delivered the parcel and cost me cheaper than the quote from DHL. [surprised.gif]
