Andy

Don't worry my friend and of course take your time. We do know that everybody has a personal life and work to do before writing and posting over here. I am aware you are not a frequent visitor here and to be honest when you posted your photos it took me by surprised to see you and your friend in such a beautiful scenery together and looking very happy!

Over the years in these boards always enjoyed reading travel reports and the personal experiences of other men, visiting Russia and I understand when you tried to register your visa..... you had the right person to help you! [wink.gif]

I think the name of her town..... AMUR it must very appropriate in your case and I hope on your next trip will blossom more! [thumbs.gif]

Hello again everyone !!!

Prompted by an email from RWF admin I thought it would be polite to give you all an update.

As you probably all expected I had either given up the chase or gone somewhere else I should tell you all that nothing is further from the truth !!! Larisa and I married in the Russian Far East, July 2012, Zeya (Городская Зея), for those who know the area and are now slowly ticking all the boxes for the next steps.

We obtained a UK family visitor visa in December and she has just returned to Russia for a short while, Larisa returns here in May, until we we sort out the next steps. While in the UK she passed, with distinction, the UKBA mandatory ESOL language and living in England exam with Trinity College in Manchester, now we have the means to apply for the full spouse visa !!!

All goes well for us and I can say to those hopefuls on the forum .... Never say Never ... Никогда говори никогда ... it is not an easy road but then we never expected it would be ;-)

28/07/2012 - Zeya - Amurskaya - Wedding party in Russian Federation and a then few photos together in England early 2013 ...

Happy days my friends ... One life - Live it !!!

Hi guys .... some time again since I last posted but we have a life to live and no time to play on the internet !!!

Just a quick note to let you know that my wife, Larisa, received the spouse visa a couple of weeks ago. As I write this message 14/12/2013 she is flying to Moscow and then onwards to the UK on Sunday 15/12/2013. Success .... !!!

We did it! It has been difficult .... the current spouse visa process is definitely not easy. The application and support documents amounted to near on 500 pages .... many of which had to be certified, translated, or otherwise approved .... but hey ... together we arranged for everything specified and more.

Just thought I'd share the good news [thumbs.gif]
